At Carrier Family Doodles, we are concerned about your puppy’s preliminary potty-training experience. (You can read all about our potty training philosophy and practice.)

Once our puppies go home, many new owners purchase commercially-available, artificial grass potty systems.  They can be a short-term fail-safe in the early days, as  puppy can use it indoors (and our puppies are very used to it!), helping to avoid stressful accidents in other parts of the house.  Some bring them along while traveling, to take the guesswork out of pit stops or accommodations while away from home.

Our Astroturf is reclaimed from football fields and is professional quality, as much like real grass as possible. There really is no comparison between our turf and the commercially-available turf, which quickly sheds or frays with use and regular washing.

The tray, absorbent under pad, and turf are approximately 36″ x 24″ in size, large enough for even a mini adult dog.

Our system includes one tray, two under pads, two Astroturfs, and bonus scrapers and a roll of eco-friendly, compostable bags to easily scrape solid waste from the turf and dispose of it with less mess. The set also includes instructions for use and care.
