As experienced in-home breeders here in Kentucky, we are passionate about raising loving, healthy, well-socialized puppies as part of our family. The Carrier Family Doodles’ Story

Carrier Family Doodles began after our family returned to the United States following nearly a decade of missionary work in Kenya and Uganda. During those years of village ministry, discipleship, church planting, teaching, and caring for the poor, dogs were also an important part of our lives. We bred German Shepherds, gaining firsthand experience raising intelligent, loyal, family-oriented dogs alongside our family.

After returning home, we began searching for what we believed would be the ideal family companion—highly intelligent, loving, trainable, family-oriented, allergy-friendly, and beautiful. That journey eventually led us to fall in love with Golden Mountain Doodles and Aussie Mountain Doodles. Today, Carrier Family Doodles is truly a family effort, with our dogs and puppies raised in our home as part of everyday family life rather than in kennels or isolated facilities.

Ministry remains central to our lives. Alongside raising puppies, our family is active in writing, teaching, conferences, discipleship, church planting, and prayer ministry. Carrier Family Doodles allows us to continue working together as a family while supporting the ministry work that has shaped our lives for many years. As part of that commitment, we give away one out of every ten puppies to individuals or families facing genuine hardships who could benefit from the companionship of a therapy or emotional support dog.

Happy, Loving Puppies—From Our Family to Yours

At Carrier Family Doodles, we’re more than just a breeding program—we’re a family working together to raise exceptional, home-raised companion dogs while continuing the ministry work that has defined our lives for many years. Our faith, family life, and commitment to serving others are deeply woven into everything we do.

What We Care About

At Carrier Family Doodles, we care deeply about raising healthy, loving, highly socialized puppies that truly become part of the family. Our dogs are raised in our home alongside children, affection, play, and everyday family life, helping them develop into loyal, people-focused companions with exceptional temperaments. We also believe families deserve honesty, kindness, support, and genuine care throughout the adoption process.

Our Heart Behind What We Do

Faith, family, and ministry have guided our lives for many years. Alongside raising puppies, our family remains active in discipleship, teaching, conferences, church planting, and serving others. We believe the blessings God gives us should be used to bless people well — both through ministry and through the puppies we raise and place into loving homes.

Our Values

  • Faith & Family

Our Christian faith and family life direct everything we do. We believe in treating others the way we would want to be treated—with honesty, kindness, patience, and respect.

  • Raising Puppies with Love

Our dogs are family pets first. They are raised in our home surrounded by children, affection, play, and everyday family life. We believe animals should be treated with dignity, compassion, and excellent care.

  • Serving People Well

We believe bringing a puppy into your home is more than a transaction. We strive to build genuine relationships with the families we serve by being transparent, responsive, helpful, and supportive throughout the life of your dog.

  • Integrity & Stewardship

We believe in doing what is right, standing behind our puppies, and operating with integrity in both breeding and business practices. We also believe the blessings and resources God has given us should be used to serve others and support ministry work.

  • Giving Back

As part of our commitment to serving others, we give away one out of every ten puppies to individuals or families facing genuine hardships or special needs who could benefit from the companionship of a therapy or emotional support dog.

  • Marc sits on a brown leather chair, smiling and holding two happy dogs, one black and white, the other brown and curly.
    Marc

Hey, I’m Marc — owner of Carrier Family Doodles. I’m involved in much of the planning and decision-making behind our program, including parent dog selection and pairing, planning future litters, and helping guide the overall direction of Carrier Family Doodles.

I also help with some of the hands-on care of our dogs and puppies, including medicines, treatments, vet checks, and puppy deliveries. I especially enjoy spending time with our adult dogs, playing with puppies, and helping socialize them as part of our everyday family life.

Outside of puppies, ministry has defined our family for many years through writing, teaching, discipleship, conferences, and church planting.

Thanks for stopping by — we look forward to helping you find the right puppy for your family.

  • Hi, I’m Cindy — co-owner of Carrier Family Doodles. Much of my role revolves around caring for both our puppies and the families who adopt them. I handle most of our customer communication, help families through the adoption process, coordinate veterinary appointments and records, manage supplies, and oversee much of the organization and day-to-day operation behind the scenes.

I’m also deeply involved in the hands-on care of our puppies, including socialization and maintaining a clean, healthy environment for them to thrive in. Because our puppies are raised inside our home as part of everyday family life, cleanliness and care are held to a very high standard.

One of my favorite roles is helping match each family with the right puppy based on temperament, personality, and lifestyle. We never want families to feel pressured, and I genuinely enjoy helping people find the companion that fits them best.

Outside of puppies, ministry and family life are where I love to invest. I especially enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren, and I truly love pouring care and attention into each and every puppy we raise.

    Bekah

Hey, I’m Bekah — part of the team here at Carrier Family Doodles. Before getting married and starting my own family life here on the property with my husband, I was heavily involved in nearly every aspect of raising and caring for our puppies. Today, I still stay involved through photography, grooming our adult dogs, providing occasional puppy care and socialization, and helping wherever needed.

I also help with adult dog selection and pairing, working to develop exceptional temperaments along with the wide variety of coats, colors, and patterns our families love.

Outside of puppies, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family and spending time in prayer and worship.

  • Enoch is an avid fisherman and a lover of animals, so from the beginning he has enjoyed all our dogs. He began helping Bekah in the puppy room a couple years ago, slowly taking on various dog and puppy care responsibilities independently. When he was 14, he got his own special dog (Midge, a mini Aussiedoodle), and she is now part of our breeding program. Enoch cares for, socializes, and loves on Midge’s puppies and Midge is a spoiled dog for sure! Enoch helps with bathing, cleanup, vet visits, deliveries, and much of the day-to-day care of our adult dogs.

    Jubilee

Jubilee can often be found cuddling and petting our puppies (especially the ones that get “lost” in the living room and cry for help! She has a soft heart.).  She is especially involved with ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), puppy socialization, cleanup, and assisting with photography by helping position and handle the puppies during photo sessions.

  • Joanna (“Joey”), Marc Jr. (“Mop”), and Gideon (“Giddy”) are all part of everyday life here at Carrier Family Doodles. From an early age, our children are involved in helping care for, socialize, and love on both our puppies and adult dogs. They all can’t wait till puppy eyes are open–for them, that’s the official start of “puppy socialization!” Being raised closely around children and everyday family life helps our puppies grow into happy, confident, well-socialized companions.
